South Dakota was a Lakota Territory since well before it was settled by Europeans and we still see their influence throughout our region. Student Loan Finance Company's founder has been a longtime rancher with native ties and we wanted to tie in that important piece of history. Zunta means honest in Lakota, so we suggested we combine that with “Finance” to create the word ZuntaFi. The name is fun, unique and the domain was available!
We also coined the tagline, “Honest Financial Solutions” as a tip of the hat to the name! From there, we designed a logo, replaced all their branded material, marketing pieces and website and worked with them on the coordinated brand rollout.
